Welcomefest 2008
As a tribute to incoming students, Saddleback College hosted the years biggest celebration: Welcomefest 2008. The event was complete with informational booths, music, food, and activities, and lots of “giveaways”.
Welcomefest is held annually for incoming students to connect them with their new campus. This helps students become more involved on and off campus, and may even breed some useful study partners as well.
Students had the opportunity to meet with classmates and teachers in order to make the college transition go as smoothly as possible.
Students were also able to gain information on campus clubs and organizations to optimize their college experience and boost campus involvement. Welcomefest 2008 was not all business though. The event boasted fun games as well, including a rock-climbing wall and free food.
Those who attended were able to forge lasting relationships while having a little fun too.
