With 695 precincts completed out of 2109, Prop. 2 supporters hold the lead with 60.6 percent of the votes, with the opponents at 39.4 percent.
A Yes vote on Prop. 2 would guarantee better care for farm animals. The animals would not be housed in such small confinements.
A No vote means that farm animals would be kept in the same confinement.
