The Gauchos played a not so spooky Halloween game at OCC against the Pirates. The Gauchos were edged 2-1 by OCC.
Early in the game the Pirates allowed a goal but then played good defense for the rest of the half.
Their defensive effort continued in the second half before allowing a goal at the 70 minute mark. The Gauchos made a game out of it by cutting into the Pirate lead on a goal scored by Jericho Baichtal with an assist by Madeline Horner.
The loss gives the Gauchos a record of 3-11-4 overall with a record 2-10-1 in Orange Empire Conference play.
The Gauchos next game will be at Cypress, on Tuesday and kick off is set for 3:00 p.m.
