Local dollar theater entices audiences with low cost
Does trying to save money have you going stir crazy? Saving money no longer has to be synonymous with staying at home. Now it’s possible for you to save money and venture out. I know, this sounds contradictory, but I’ve found a great little spot in Orange County that will allow you to scratch the itch of going out and allow you to save money.
The Woodbridge Movie 5, located in Irvine, is the place to go for a movie on the big screen at a great price.
Don’t expect extra frills. It’s quite the standard affaire; no reclining seats, armrests don’t go up, no special stadium seating and certainly no IMA screen.
However, this doesn’t mean it’s bad. The staff is very friendly and keeps the theater quite clean, making it worth the $1.50 you’ll pay.
One word of caution; the snacks are all priced normally and the theater only accept cash, not debit or credit cards.
I want to reiterate that this is a CASH ONLY affair, so don’t forget to swing by the ATM prior to going.
I was going to ask the staff how the company can afford to play movies so cheap. Then I decided, “Who cares why they’re doing it.” The fact is that they are offering these movies at low cost and we should all take advantage of it.
So if you’re low on funds due to the holidays, gas prices have you down, you’re a starving student or you’re tired of paying exorbitant prices to go to a movies, the Woodbridge Movie 5 is a welcome beacon in the otherwise overpriced sea of Orange County entertainment offerings.
