IVC announces First Annual Writing Contest

The IVC English Club is proud to sponsor the First Annual Writing Contest, which is open to all currently enrolled IVC students.

Prizes will be awarded in two categories: short story and poetry. Applicants may submit work in both categories and all entries will be judged by the IVC English Department faculty. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and thrid place in both categories.

Short stories should be limited to a 20 page maximum and all entries must be typed and doubled spaced. Submissions may be hand delivered or sent via E-mail and will be accepted through Jan. 31.
