IVC alone in first Place in OEC
olleyball team is now sitting atop the Orange Empire Conference by itself after completing a sweep against Golden West College.
Marilena Guadagnini and Casey Williams led the Lasers with 10 kills. Guadagnini also had three digs and two blocks.
Carly Loucks finished with five kills. Kelsey Hall also had five kills. Freshmen setter Allie Hammer had 26 assists for the Lasers.
Amanda Donaldson had seven digs. They swept Golden West with scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 26-24.
The only Rustler threat came in the third game of the match as the Lasers won by two points.
The Lasers will host two home games this week. On Wednesday they will host OCC. Friday the Lasers will welcome the Fullerton Hornets to Hart Gymnasium. Both games start at 6 p.m.
