Gauchos host Fullerton, win by three in OEC match-up

Gauchos’ Men’s Water Polo faces tough competition this week when they host top-ranked Golden West College, today at 3pm. The Gaucho’s are fresh off last Wednesday’s 14-11 victory over Fullerton College.
Goalies Wade Warren and Trevor Evans each had six saves.Sophomore Kevin Bursinski rounded out the defense by turning the ball twice in favor of the Gauchos’. Danny Tayenaka, Kevin Mitchell, and Sean Colton lead the offense with three goals each.
Mitchell lead the Gaucho’s in attempted goals, shooting five times, while Colton led in assist’s with four.
“We get stronger and stronger each week,” said Higginson. “Their focused, I’ve got a full commitment from the team, I think we’re looking at a Conference Tournament Championship.”
