Gaucho’s face a two loss streak to begin season

For the first conference play the Gauchos faced Santiago Canyon College Sept. 16.

The Hawks beat the Gauchos 8-0. The Hawks dominated the game, out shooting the Gauchos 35-3.

Gaucho’s goalie Kat Pegg saved 21 shots but allowed 8 goals.

Last Friday, Saddleback lost 5-1 against Riverside.

Jennifer Smith scored Saddleback’s lone goal on an assist by Catie Scheid.

The Gauchos will host the Fullerton Hornets at the Rancho Capistrano Field on Friday at 3 p.m.
