Gauchos eliminated from basketball playoffs

The top-seeded Saddleback College Gauchos fell to the Chaffey College Panthers, 73-60, in the CCCAA men’s basketball regional final at Saddleback College on Saturday night.
The Orange Empire Conference Champion Gauchos finish the season 27-5. Chaffey improves to 26-6 and advances to the final four of the state semifinals in Sacramento to take on City College of San Francisco on Friday.
