Gauchos freshmen running back Jai Morris was solid in his first game since his senior season at El Toro High School in Lake Forest.
The 6-foot running back had 91 of the Gauchos’ total 195 rushing yards in a 16-11 loss Friday against Golden West College. He also scored a touchdown.
The Gauchos will host their first home game Saturday at 6 p.m. against Mt. San Jacinto.
