The Gauchos baseball team and Mike Cole flexed their muscle this week in two different games.
In a 15-0 rout of Golden West last Thursday, the sophomore from Trabuco Hills High School led the way, going 4-for-4, including a pair of doubles with two RBI.
In last Saturday’s game at Riverside, Cole had a pair of hits despite the 3-1 loss. He finished 2-for-3.
The 6-foot left fielder leads his team with a .408 batting average.
With three games left in the season, he has 14 doubles, two homeruns and 34 RBI.
The Gauchos will conclude Orange Empire Conference play Wednesday when they host Fullerton College at 2:30 p.m.
