Athlete of the week

Gauchos designated hitter Eric Mura set the pace for the game against the Orange Coast College, Thursday.

The sophomore from Mission Viejo High School blasted a solo home run to left field in the first inning to increase his home run season tally to two and the Gauchos’ lead to 1-0.

Later in the game, Mura singled to left center to give the Gauchos a 4-0 advantage.

Saddleback went on to win the game 7-4.
