Saddleback was involved in two very different games last week, and received stellar performances by Lauren Molina in both.
In a 13-inning affair against Fullerton, April 8, the freshmen from Foothill High School had a game-tying double to drive in two runs, which resulted in a 7-6 Gaucho victory.
Last Thursday at Santa Ana College, Molina allowed two runs on eight hits in 6.2 innings pitched in the 2-1 Gaucho loss. She walked four.
