Athlete of the week

When a team is trying to get back into the playoff picture, it requires a lot of things. You need other teams to help you while you take care of your own business on the court. One was up to the task.

Cornell Jenkins, a 6”0′ freshman guard out of Santiago High School in Corona, scored 27 points in 34 minutes last Friday night in Saddleback’s 71- 69 victory at Santa Ana College. The Gauchos will face Cypress College on the road on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
