An Evening of Comedy and Magic
An evening full of internationally acclaimed novelty artists and Masters of Magic will entertain the whole family on Saturday, Jan. 8 in Saddleback College’s McKinney Theatre for “An Evening of Comedy and Magic.” Last year, this show bragged a sell-out crowd.
The husband and wife duo of Jeff and Kimberly Bornstein are “The Bornstein Project.” They are billed as “a 21st century ‘battle of the sexes'” when Kimberly tells the men in the audience exactly what they’re thinking.
Magician Shawn McMaster doesn’t play by the rules. His act “Magic and Mayhem” offers sophisticated, high-energy interactive programs that include audience participation.
Although most try as children, many never master the hula hoop. Mat Plendl’s stunning talent with hula hoops captivates the audience with a visual presentation unlike anything else. He executes a highly technical routine with as many as a dozen hoops, slipping in and out of their spinning metallic forms as if they were liquid bubbles.
With birds and bunnies, the award-winning team of Victor and Diamond has brought their dynamic show around the world, using seductive background of primarily jazz music to enhance their flawlessly orchestrated illusions.
Audiences roar with laughter watching the hilarious comedy magician Dana Daniels and Luigi, The Psychic Parrot.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $32 for general admission and discounted for students, seniors and children. See the Fine Arts website for details and ticket sales information.
