Lady Gauchos take on Lady Dons
Santa Ana College’s softball team will be hosting Saddleback College on April 11, 2 p.m. in the third game of a three-game series, in Santa Ana, Calif.
The Dons lead the Gauchos 2-0 in their series this season by victories of 5-0 and 14-6. Saddleback took last seasons series against Santa Ana 2-1 with 7-2, 7-6 victories while losing 10-0 in their last match up.
Santa Ana is 11-5 in the Orange Empire conference, putting them in third place behind second place Riverside, 12-4 and first place Santiago Canyon 13-3.
The Lady Gauchos are currently on a 12-game win streak, yet are still fourth place in the Orange Empire conference with a 10-6 record, due to in conference loses to teams Riverside, Santiago Canyon, and Santa Ana. On the regular season Saddleback is 24-9.
