Gaucho women continue to spike confidence

The Saddleback women’s volleyball team battled Golden West for four games before falling 3-1.

The Gaucho women were ahead in the first game, but didn’t close Golden West out when they had their chance and lost, 23-25.

Then Saddleback came back and won the next game 25-21. These two teams were evenly matched and battled each other with great intensity.

“Hopefully we can learn to start with the same intensity and be more aggressive,” said Head Coach Carmen Stratton.

Unfortunately, Saddleback fell 22-25 and 17- 25 in the next two games.

“We are learning and I want the team to learn from this match,” Stratton said.
