Rainbow face

YouTube beauty vloggers have started their own trend. Adding on  to the extreme contouring trend by bloggers have put a heavy hand on concealers in shades of bright shades of purple, green, yellow, and red.

Before blending them together to create a better base for foundation, highlighter, and all of those other fun steps in your makeup routine, color-correcting is a pro secret for an evening out with the achieved flawless Kylie Jenner look. This contouring step brightens the skin tone by using colored concealers to counteract any discoloration – when applying though, less is honestly more, utilize the trick in a softer way. In the extreme color-correcting clips, green shades are used to cover up redness and blemishes, the yellow and pinky-red tones hide dark circles and spots, and the pretty lavender concealer evens out yellow tones. But while the color-correcting method is worth knowing to help you out on days when you haven’t gotten enough sleep or are battling breakouts, Color-correcting once and then applying the concealer on top also does the trick.

Color correcting is not for everyone, it takes practice and patience but once you nail it you’ll have baby smooth flawless skin. In contrast to strobing (contouring with a highlighting cream) rainbow concealing involves multiple products, all cream based and a blending tool. Once you’ve shaped out your face blemishes, contour, redness or hyperpigmentation blend your life away and viola! Kylie Jenner we’re coming for you.
