1. Super Vegan Sunday
If you have nothing interesting to do on Super Bowl Sunday, head to the Eat Drink Vegan and Vegan Street Fair for their first annual Super Vegan Sunday on Feb. 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They’ve partnered with Smorgasburg LA to provide a variety of vegan vendors.
2. Visit The J. Paul Getty Museum and The Broad
Visit the Getty Center and The Broad for free. Each museum offers free admission, just sign up for tickets on their website. Don’t forget to sign up for a chance to experience The Broad’s “Infinity Room” too!
3. L.A. Cookie Con and Sweets Show
Experience the “BIGGEST Baking and Pastry Convention on the West Coast” at L.A. Cookie Con and Sweets Show on Feb. 10 – 11 at the Anaheim Convention Center. Come explore two full days of dessert competitions, introductions to new cooking tools, and pastry workshops.
4. Venice Vintage Flea Market: Artists & Fleas
Check out the vintage flea market Artist & Fleas in Venice! The market is open every 2nd and 4th Saturday at the Westminster Avenue Elementary School at Abbot Kinney and the corner of Westminster Avenue and features a myriad of art, design, and vintage merchants.

5. The Moth: Live storytelling events
The Moth, at 5364 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, is a must-see, open-mic storytelling show that originated in New York City. Each show has a designated theme, like “Love Hurts” on Valentine’s Day this year or “Secrets” on Feb. 20. Participants put their name in a hat for a chance to tell a story onstage. If your name is pulled, you get five minutes to tell a true, comprehensive story that fits the chosen theme. Each story is then scored on a scale of 1 to 10 by judges selected from the audience.

6. Outdoor Viewing of “50 First Dates”
Enjoy a romantic evening at Malibu Wines Feb. 9 for their Valentine’s Day Movie Night – this year they’ll be screening the cult romantic comedy “50 First Dates.”

7. 21+ Valentine’s Day Bar Crawl
Head over to the Barcrawlerz Stupid Cupid Bar Crawl on Valentine’s Day evening with your significant other, friends or just your lonely self. Meet at West End Nightclub in Santa Monica to get your map and embark on a lovely crawl going until 2 AM!

8. Chinese New Year Parade
Join in at the 119th annual Chinese New Year parade and festival in downtown Los Angeles’s Chinatown on Saturday, February 17 from 1 to 3 p.m.. The Chinatown Central Plaza celebration brings multi-stage acts from kung fu demos to traditional music acts. Families can also join in the action with kid-friendly face painting, storytelling, and paper folding.
