No problems reported so far in pipe malfunction at Saddleback College

Despite a major hot water pipe malfunction, there have been no major complaints reported, according to Saddleback College Director of Public Information and Marketing Jennie McCue.

On Monday, McCue sent out a campus-wide email alerting the college community about a major failure in the hot water piping system. Recipients were told that there would be no heat in buildings, and temperatures would be cool.

Despite the alert, the cafeteria has so far been unaffected.

“Everything is working normally”, Saddleback cafeteria manager James Gau said.

“I haven’t had any complaints of any problems on campus pertaining to the pipe problem” said McCue in an interview.

According to the email, heating problems were originally projected to extend until Nov. 26.
