Gaucho guitars welcome guitar enthusiasts
Guitar enthusiasts are welcomed to attend Gaucho Guitars, an event filled with live guitar music.
The event will be held Saturday April 21, 7:30p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Fine Arts 101 and tickets will be sold at the door for $5.
Performances will include the Gaucho Guitars, a group of Saddleback College students, directed by Saddleback music instructor Randy Pile. Pile teaches beginning classical guitar at Saddleback and also other colleges such as Irvine Valley College, Orange Coast College, Palomar College and San Diego Mesa College.
Pile has five recorded albums and has toured across America, Canada, Europe, and the South Pacific. Also performing will be jazz soloist Capital performing Brazilian solo guitar music with pieces from several famous Brazilian guitarist-composers from the likes of Garoto to Guinga.
Different styles will be featured at the events such as choro, samba, baiao, frevo and bossa nova.
