Former Saddleback student dies in car crash
Former Saddleback College student Franz Nalezny, 22, was in a fatal car accident last night at 7:40 p.m. near his home on Trabuco Canyon in Coto de Caza, according to the Orange County Coroner’s press release.
After hitting a curb, Nalezny became airborne, landing into a wall next to a Coto de Caza residence. In order to remove the vehicle still carrying the Nalezny’s body, a towing crane came on the scene at 11 p.m.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the case and stated that no obvious skid marks were present on the scene. Nalezny was the only occupant of the vehicle. The home received minimal damage, and those inside the home were left unharmed.
Nalezny was attending Cal State University, Fullerton, studying graphic design after graduating with an associate’s degree from Saddleback in 2012.
