Bake Sale in honor of Fat Tuesday

The International & Diversity Student Council will be holding a bake sale in honor of Fat Tuesday, also known as Mardi Gras March 4 in the Student Services Center Quad.
The ASG council, directed by Sarvy Pahiavan, promotes cultural awareness and societal integration on campus.
“Baked goods will be sold for a low cost and they will be well worth it!” Sarvy said. “We will also be encouraging people to give something up for Lent.”
Fat Tuesday is the last day of feasting before the fasting ritual of Lent, which falls the following Ash Wednesday.
Proceeds of the event will go to a charity that is to be determined.
