For all you fashion forward gauchos, Saddleback college is hosting a Fashion A”wear”ness Day Thurs., Nov. 19. The fashion show will showcase styles such as bohemian, rockabilly, skate/surf, and chic. There is something for everyone. Clothing is provided by student fashions and designs will also be included in the show as well as RVCA, Element and ETNIES. There will be an auction for London Hair studio hair salon for makeover valued at over $100. Pepsi will provide refreshments and fashion show booths will be open for purchase.
The International Film festival will be held on Friday, November 20th. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. in SSC 212. The festival will be presenting the film “Destiny”, an Egyptian piece directed by Youssef Chahine.
Plant season is here and the Horticultural Society at Saddleback College is hosting its annual Fall Plant sale. The festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday November 19th in the greenhouse on campus and end at 5:30 p.m. The event will continue until Friday Nov. 20 and will also run the same hours as Thursday. Come early for the best selections!
