A police investigation this morning about a series of early morning shootings and car jackings may impact students arrival to ATEPApplied technology and education park in Tustin today.

IVC released a statement on its website this morning, warning students of the possibilities of road closures because of the investigation. No specific road closures have been announced as of yet.

Police responded to reports of a car jacking and shots fired at around 5:30 this morning in the Tustin area near Red Hill avenue and the 5 freeway. The suspect shot multiple people and stole two cars during the early morning spree. When officers attempted to stop  the suspect in Orange, the suspect shot and killed himself.

Reports are that there are  at least three or four deaths related to the shootings this morning, including the gunman.
