KSBR Radio 88.5, Mark Schwartz and Michael Kincaid in shift transition (Shirley Smith)
Students are eligible to audition for an on-air-shift after completing two classes (CA110 and CA113). KSBR’s primary format is contemporary jazz, but it also has weekend specialty shows featuring other musical styles like reggae, folk, ragtime, rock, Latin jazz, blues, and hip-hop music.
KSBR is a community service station for Orange, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties and also serves as an internship for these markets and can be found on the FM dial at 88.5.
