Comic artist to give lecture at IVC tomorrow Night

Come and see Scott McCloud, comic book artist and theorist, present a lecture on “Comics and Visual Communication” tomorrow night at 7 p.m. at Irvine Valley College.

The lecture is free and will be in the Performing Arts Center Main Stage. The presentation will cover how comics are used in storytelling, media and visual communication and how they relate to culture.

McCloud has written and drawn for a number of books including “Reinventing Comics”, “Understanding Comics” and “Making Comics”.
