Classes resume at Saddleback College on Thursday

As of 10:05 a.m., per an email from President Burnett, the following message was conveyed.

“Dear Faculty, Staff and Management,
I am pleased to report that water has been restored to most of the buildings on campus due to the outstanding efforts of our facilities, maintenance, and operations departments.

Water and air conditioning have been restored to the following buildings:
* Student Services Center
* Business and General Studies
* Health Sciences
* Administration and Governance Building
* Library Building/Learning Resource Center
* Science and Math

As of now, water and air conditioning continues to be unavailable in the following buildings:
* Village
* Fine Arts
* PE and Athletics
* Child Development Center

We are working to get water and air conditioning restored to the other buildings and expect to have this completed by tomorrow. In the meantime, port-a-potties will remain available in those areas. An updated map of port-a-potty locations will be sent out shortly.

Given that water service is currently available in most major buildings on campus and we expect to restore water to the rest of campus by tomorrow, all classes will resume as scheduled tomorrow.

Again, thank you for your understanding, patience, and support during this situation, and I am very pleased at how our faculty, staff, and management at the college and district services have handled this situation.”

Sincerely,
Tod Burnett
