ASG makes changes to Awareness Week
The Associated Student Government goes over the details of the upcoming awareness week.
A few events for awareness week have been canceled. The drag show for sex health was canceled because ASG could not get enough people to sign up. The talent show for the non-profit organizations was canceled; as well as the high heel race for Laura’s House.
The paper chain link will still go on as planned and there is a change with the goodie bags. ASG will be handing out condoms stapled to the lollipops instead of handing out the bags.
ASG also discussed about how they will operate and set up the speed dating event.
ASG will have a check in table; at the table participants will receive numbers and sheets of paper. If two people have a connection then they write down the number they want to get to know better and can get the person contact info from them.
The student government has also managed to be under budget; after getting supplies the ASG has $1,033.04 left from their original predicted budget of $3,500.
