Stargirl review

(Stargirl from Disney+)

After Leo Borlock’s dad died, he began wearing a tie that reminded him of his dad. One day some bullies in school cut his tie. However, later in the movie, someone mysteriously leaves him a tie every year on his birthday by his house door.

Later in the movie, Leo meets a mysterious girl in high school named Stargirl, who he later realizes was the one that left him the ties every year on his birthday. The two of them soon become friends and it can be said that they have a cute friendship.

Stargirl shows that she is a kind girl to the people around her. One day, by the final minutes of the movie, she mysteriously disappears leaving viewers wondering if she was human or some kind of guardian angel for Leo.

It can be said that the character Stargirl is a good role model for kids and tweens watching the movie since she shows them it is good to be kind to people and do good things for others. Especially in a situation like the one we are living now, it is good to let people know that is always good to help others.

The movie is now available to watch on the streaming service Disney+.
