“This event provides a fun opportunity for students to show off the designs that they have been working on throughout the semester,” said Tod Burnett, Saddleback’s president. “I encourage everyone to come out for a great time and to support student scholarships.”
The show will feature local boutiques Melrose in the O.C. and Swirl Boutique in the fashion event, as well as a local street artist. Food will be provided by culinary students.
The fashion show will receive coverage from cinema, television, and radio students.
“I enjoy watching the students create the show from conception to completion,” said Diane McGroarty, an instructor of in the fashion merchandise department. “It takes hours of dedication, in addition to their regular assignments. This year’s theme has inspired unique pieces and production that is sure to thrill the audience.”
