1. White Christmas – Bing Crosby. The title track that was first introduced to the public in the 40’scontains one of many beloved Christmas tunes that is the sound to the season.

2. TheChristmasSong – Nat King Cole. Nothing says Christmas more than Nat King Cole. “The Christmas Song,” “Caroling Caroling,” and “Oh Little Town of Bethlehem” are perfect to wrap presents or sit by the fireplace. His voice is timeless and this album will be sure to get you in the spirit.

3. Now That’s What I Call Christmas vol 1, 2, and 3. Now’s holiday efforts are a plethora of hits that roll one after another. Songs include originals, remakes by new artists, and old favorites by Brenda Lee, John Lennon, Burl Ives, Elvis Presley, Eartha Kit, and The Carpenters.

4. How The Grinch Stole Christmas- Boris Karloff. The music to the 60’s animated feature will charm and melt any Grinch. “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” is witty with dynamic vocals while “Welcome Christmas” captures a that whooville magic.

5. Elf Soundtrack. The Elf Soundtrack features great music from crooners like Ella Fitzgerald, Louie Prima, and Lena Horne. Each song is upbeat andreminiscent of a more classic, vintage Christmas.

6. Home For Christmas- Amy Grant. “Breath Of Heaven (Mary’s Song)” is one of the reasons this CD is soamazing. The song beautifully interprets the heart of Mary (the motherof Jesus) and is elegantly sung by Grant. Her other Christmas songs include “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of The Year” and “Rockin’ AroundThe Christmas Tree.”

7. Christmas with the beach boys- The Beach Boys. The Beach Boys Christmas album is both fun and original. The band brings Christmas music that has ingenious surf style and incredible harmonies. Every song is worth the listen but “Little Saint Nick,” “The Man With All The Toys,” and “We Three Kings of Orient Are” areworth replaying.

8. A Charlie Brown Christmas.Jazz is infused throughout this holiday album by the brilliant worksof the Vince Guaraldi Trio. With end earing vocals and simple mellowpiano melodies the album delivers hope and innocence to listeners.

9. Holiday: A Collection of ChristmasClassics-Crystal LewisCrystal. Lewis offers an exquisite array of classic holiday carols. This album is a treasure and is simply flawless. Lewis sings these classic tunes to a tee with powerhouse vocals comparing to ChristinaAguilera, Kelly Clarkson, and Mariah Carey.

10. Maybe This Christmas Tree- Various Artists. Copeland, Ivy, and Death Cab For Cutie are just a few of thealternative and indie artists featured. They create a masterpiece ofsongs with a sound that could be heard year round.

11. Merry Christmas- Mariah Carey. Before Mariah became Mimi and before her song appeared in “Love Actually” Carey did it first. Releasing “Merry Christmas” in 1994, this album instantly became a Christmas favorite based solely on thebouncy jingle, “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

12. Celebrating Christmas- Hillsong. This album stands apart because it truly celebrates the reason for the season (Christ’s Birth) and gives songs that actually allow the listener to worship and mediate on Him.

13. Happy Christmas vol 4- various artists. Happy Christmas vol. 4 is not a typical Christmas album. The Tooth and Nail family brought several of their hardcore, alternative, and emo artists to produce an impressively creative holiday mix. Music is featured by Anberlin, Hawk Nelson, Mae, and Switchfoot.
