Spring is in the air as Irvine Valley College is set to host the Spring Music Student Showcase, tomorrow at 2 p.m. The event is free and will take place in the rehearsal student in A311.

Official music majors enrolled in Music 53, a concert music class at IVC, will be performing in small ensembles for the mid-day concert. Performances will include numbers from Wicked, Miss Saigon, and The Carnival of the Animals.

“It is for the most part a student run event,” said Stephen Rochford of the IVC Music Department. “They make the fliers and run the stage set up and perform.”

Guests are welcomed to donate to the two endowed scholarships offered by the music department. It is a free event and parking will be free in Lot 4.
