Senate takes to the Web

Steven Jung

The senate meeting included a review of department websites where the Senators all agreed that the some of the Website lacked information including how to contact the deans of the departments as well as other staff.

Joshua Baum explained that soon each individual subject for the Science & Math building will have its own individual web page including information such as academic calendars and even a science lecture series.

The senate agreed that it would like to see other divisions have more information on their web pages including the Health Sciences and Human Services website.

The only information on the Health Services web page includes the fall semester which started on Aug. 20, 2012. In comparison, the Mathematics, Science and Engineering web page has additional information on the divisions, safety programs, and other things that might interest students.

The senate agreed that division websites should go the extra mile in order to provide students critical information.
