Hard working Saddleback College students receive recognition from schools including the UC, CSU, California private colleges and out of state colleges, when they are ready to transfer.

“Colleges want our students,” Barbara Benivides, Senior Transfer Center Specialist said. “They feel that students here are well prepared.”

A free event for students will take place Mar. 5, from 10 a.m.  to 1 p.m. in the SSC Quad. For the first time,  the International School of Franklin from Switzerland will attend,  which gives students the chance to study abroad.

“Unfortunately not everyone will get into the UC and CSU systems, so it is important to look at the other options,” Benavides said. “Private schools come, because they see the California scheme of things and want Saddleback students.”

There will also be in-state and out-of-state workshops to come during the months of April and May. The Transfer Financial Aid Workshop will be held Feb. 21 at noon in SSC 166.

To reserve a seat in a workshop email the Transfer center: [email protected] or call (949) 582-4328.
