Saddleback hosting NSLS speaker series

Saddleback College is hosting the National Society of Leadership and Success with a series of special guest speakers.

On Wednesday, Sept. 30, from noon to 1:30 p.m., Alexis Jones will discuss her success as a teen model and competing member of Survivor, as well as talk about her organization, iamthatgirl, which focuses on social change and global awareness.  The event will be held in Student Services Center Room 212.

On Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 4 p.m., Jim Kouzes will speak in the Ronald Reagan Board of Trustees Room in the Health Sciences Building.  He will discuss his award-winning bestseller

“The Leadership Challenge,” a compilation of practices that good leaders use to create positive change.  He will be speaking again on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. in Student Services Center Room 212.

Monday, Nov. 16, at 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. speaker Marc Kielburger, co-author of three bestsellers, will be in Student Services Center Room 212. He is the Chief Executive Director of Free the Children.

All NSLS-affiliated students will have the opportunity to reserve tickets on a first-come, first-served basis; all students are welcome.
