Saddleback cinema film makers submit 10 works to Newport Beach Film Festival

The 2011 Newport Film Festival begins April 28 and runs through May 5, with the short films of Saddleback College’s students being showcased May 4 at 5 p.m.

A total of ten short films and trailers will be presented in the screening by Saddleback students.

A range of 350 films will be presented in total from filmmakers representing over 40 countries.

The students compete with filmmakers from schools such as University of Southern California, UCLA, and Chapman University.

Directors, screenwriters and cinematographers will provide an inside look at the industry during a post-screening Q&A.

Tickets to see the showcase are $5 per person.
