Proposition 4 ended with 52 percent of Californians voting No and 48 percent voting Yes.
Proposition 4 would have amended the state constitution to say that a physician is required to notify, not obtain permission, the legal guardian of a pregnant minor at least 48 hours before preforming an abortion.
