Polling places

Citizens make their selections in voting booths for the 2012 election on Nov. 6. (Robert Shoemake)

With the election wrapping up tonight, some students have questioned where the locations are that have polling booths, the answer to your question lies within this article.  Facebook also has the option to “find your polling location.”

The first thing you must do is visit – http://www.smartvoter.org/2012/06/05/ca/or/polllist.html

Pick the location closest to your place of residence, and remember you must be registered to vote or you will not come up on their rosters.

The process can take five minutes to hours, depending on which location you’re designated, and what time you show up.

The polls will close at 8:00p.m.

Republican, Democrat or Independent, make sure you get out there and exercise your right to vote.
