Le Paige rocks Saddleback College quad

The pop/rock band Le Paige rocked out Wednesday, Sept. 26 in the Saddleback College campus quad.

They brought a lively and energetic atmosphere to the campus, performing songs from their first CD “Hit the Lights” along with some covers like “Yeah!” by Usher.

“I liked their energy and how they engage with their crowd,” said Maddie Hernandez, 21, broadcast journalism. “I like the covers they did.”

The Los Angeles band consists of four musicians: lead singer/acoustic guitarist Beau Garner, 22, bassist/backup vocalist, Nick Banaszak, 20, guitarist/backup vocalist Adrian Padua, 19, and drummer Luke Denney, 20.

“One more song!” a few students led by Mike Tirado, 18, music, chanted after the band’s set ended.

“They were enthusiastic and positive, switching up their tempo,” Tirado said.

Through their kickstarter campaign, the band hopes to raise $10,000 in order to travel to Georgia to record their next album, “Goodnight to Midnight.”

Le Paige’s band manager Alison Martens, 19, explains that if you donate to their campaign and they don’t reach their goal of $10,000, then the money will be returned to you.

They have currently received $1,586 with 28 days left to donate.

The band has played at Warped Tour, KROQ Locals Only Tour, and Relay For Life at various college campuses.

They will be playing Sept. 27, at the LA Fair for the Battle of the Bands in which they have made the final round.
