Gauchos golf finishes behind Dons

The Saddleback men’s golf team fell short of a victory at Santa Ana College, March 10.

The Gauchos finished three-points above of the Dons’ 365, while Cuyamaca was way behind at 388.

Saddleback sophomore Tim Joerin was named as a medalist honor for the third-straight time in as many conference matches. He shot a two-under-par 70 to share medalist honors with teammate Zach Taylor and Santa Ana’s Daren Johnson.

Three other Saddleback players all shot 76 on the afternoon.

Joerin now is eight under par on through three conference matches.

The Gauchos will participate in the Canyons Invitational March 17.
