A note from Saddleback’s Associated Student Government

Kalin Kelly, Student Government President 2008-2009

Activity in campus life is important to a student’s success. College is what you make of it and student involvement makes the college experience a more gratifying one. The more actively and socially involved an individual is increases the students learning and has been directly linked to higher grades as well as a long-term persistence and degree completion.

Associated Student Government at Saddleback College is the best way to become involved in school. Through ASG you will meet many motivated and driven students who want to improve themselves in a collaborative learning environment before transferring to a four-year institution.

You will learn more about the active campus clubs and participate in the many events that ASG funds and executes. Most importantly however, if chosen to be in ASG you will have the opportunity to speak for the thousands of fellow students on campus whose voices go unheard.

Make your time here at Saddleback a more fulfilling one and become part of something bigger that yourself. Take the fist step to a better college experience and fill out an application in the Student Development office in the Student Services building. Interviews will be held in the ASG office (SSC 208B) Dec. 8-12. Please call (949) 582-4419 to schedule an appointment.
