Tournament awaits Gauchos basketball

Saddleback College’s men’s basketball team will compete in a 16-team tournament, hosted by Riverside City College, on Wednesday, Dec. 10 to Sunday, Dec. 14.
The tourney will also consist of eight teams that are currently ranked in the top-15 in the Southern California Coach’s Rankings, making it one of the hardest tournaments of the season.
The Gauchos are 9-1 to begin the season and will hope to continue their hot start as they play Contra Costa College in their first game of the tourney. The game will tipoff at 1 p.m.
