RECIPE: Fall apple sangria

A frightfully delicious glass of fall sangria

Our temperatures are finally dropping, the leaves are slowly changing and fall is in the air. What could be more fall than a glass full of apple sangria! The flavors of apple, pear and cinnamon are sure to warm up the crisp fall nights.

What you will need:

2 apples
1 pear
cinnamon sticks
4 cups of apple cider
1 cup ginger ale
1bottle of red wine
1/2 cup brandy

Directions:

Wash and chop apples and pear.
Place all ingredients in a large carafe or pitcher.
Refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
Pour yourself a glass and enjoy!!!

Optional: Garnish your glass with a sugared rim. Simply mix some sugar and cinnamon in a plate then wet the rim of your glass and dip into the sugar mixture, add a cinnamon stick and cheers!
