Choosing a four-year college or university for community college transfer students can be a daunting and confusing task. Saddleback College’s Transfer Center has two upcoming events to help students review some area institutions of higher learning.

A transfer advisor representing California State University, Long Beach will be on campus on Wednesday, Feb. 22, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Student Services Center (SSC), Room 166.

Saddleback will host a Transfer College Fair and Workshops on Wednesday, Mar. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the main campus quad. A full list of attending colleges is available at www.saddleback.edu/transfer/events.html. After the fair, some of the colleges will offer 60-minutes workshops. In SSC 140A and 140J, Brandman University will share information with veterans, as well as its nursing program. In SSC 166, students may speak with a rep from Arizona State University.

Reservations are required to meet with the CSULB rep and for the workshops by signing up in the Transfer Center, located in CC1 (Classroom Complex), or by calling 949-582-4328. Further information is available online at http://www.saddleback.edu/esars/transfer/eSARS.asp.
