MySite back to maximum performance level

The web portal is utilized by both the IVC and Saddleback communities.

After a week of less-than-optimal performance, the student portal MySite is now back up and running.

The initial problems began on the first day of school, and students were unable to register via MySite. The only registration option was to visit Admissions and Records in person.

APC codes for students wishing to enroll in a class were still being issued despite the technical issues, and the codes will remain valid until Jan. 31st. Until that date, the APC codes guarantee a seat in a class despite the previous technological blockade.

District staff worked diligently to resolve the problems, and as a result, MySite is now fully functional.

“I thank you for the wonderful work you have done helping our students in those trying days,” said Rajen Vurdien, vice president for instruction, in a prepared statement. “I admire your patience, understanding and cooperation.”

Students can now rest easy and secure their enrollment at Saddleback College.
