Foundation Scholarship applications due March 10th

Information on the Saddleback’s Foundation Scholarship application, due Mar. 10.    There are a variety of scholarships to be gifted out based on specific educational goals, financial need, merit, or educational status.  Qualifications for this application include being a sophomore at Saddleback College either, graduating and transferring to a four-year college/university, or continuing education at Saddleback.  Both continuing and transfer students have to participate in submitting a 150-word personal statement in the application according to the application. 
They provide prompts for your response in the website.  Continuing students must have completed at least 12 units by the finish of fall 2012 and be enrolled in at least six credit units in the spring of 2013.  Transfer students must have completed 24 units at Saddleback and have six units in the spring semester of 2013 also.  The transfer student must be on their way to a four-year college/university or program that’s not at Saddleback.  After completion of the application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you will receive an email notifying you if you are qualified for the reward.  Look out for the email coming at the end of April or early May of 2013.
