Dean of Enrollment Services calls for student focus group
The admissions process can be stressful on new college students, especially when their high school’s was practically done for them. Even with the help of the admission and records office, the steps to being admitted, enrolled, and guaranteeing your spot in a class can be confusing and difficult.
The hard working faculty members in the admissions office are aware of the struggles students may face while undergoing the process and Dean of Enrollment Services, Jean Rosenkrans, has proposed a solution.
Along with communicating more with those who work in the office over MySite or dropping by and making an appointment, Dean Rosenkrans thinks a student focus group who discusses the admissions process with newly enrolled students, could improve the overall process.
