Not only is it football season but it is time for the Saddleback College Homecoming as well, taking place on Nov 3.

Bounce houses, slides, a jousting set and free food will be set up from 3-5 p.m. in front of the football field, allowing guests to “party like a rock star” (the theme) and get pumped up for the game.

A band also will play and guests will have the chance to dress up in rock star like attire and win prizes.

“It’s going to be a good time event,” said Inter Club Council director Justin Santiago. “People should come to support the football team and college and see what the community offers.”

Students as well as alumni and community members are welcome to attend the free event and support Saddleback’s football team as they take on the Santa Ana College Dons.

“The event will get people to notice that we actually have school activities,” said secretary of events, Kendall Bober. “It also gives the football team the support that they don’t get enough of.”During the 15-20 minute halftime show there will be a lip syncing contest judged by audience applause.

Following the contest, Saddleback’s homecoming king and queen will be announced. The winners will be chosen by student voting Oct. 30-31 on the Saddleback College website.
