Saddleback College has a twelve-step program for any student who has an addiction.

Gary Olsen’s a coordinator for the Drugs Alcohol Prevention Intervention Advisary Committee program, DAPIAC. DAPIAC helps people with addictions to drugs and alcohol on campus. The group meets Mondays in Business and General Studies  room 135 and runs from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

“It’s for students, and we help all addictions,” Olsen said. According to Olsen, the group has been meeting for a couple of weeks now he wants to let people know, that there is a group on campus to offer help to those who choose to accept it.

“We don’t just treat alcohol and drug addictions,” Olsen explained. “We also treat gambling and sex addictions as well.”

Olsen wants to let people know that no matter what addiction you have, the fellowship meeting is willing to help out anyone that is willing to attend.
